Metis Art presents Rebels, Rascals, and Mavericks, an exhibition exploring the many ways artists challenge conventions, question norms, and assert their individuality. Through diverse works, the exhibition examines rebellion not only as an act of defiance but also as a means of artistic and cultural evolution.

Featuring Ari Bayuaji, Ruben Pang, Samuel Xun, Chatmongkol Insawang, Liu Hsin-Ying, Hu Qiren, Chen Dongfan, Frida Wannerberger, Neha Vedpathak, Anila Quayyum Agha, Sohan Qadri, Eduardo Enrique, Ronald Ventura, Ines Katamso, and Shaun Stamp, the exhibition brings together artists who confront social and political issues, redefine materiality, and push the limits of their disciplines. Their works reflect the dynamic tension between tradition and transformation, offering new perspectives on creative resistance.

Curated by Metis’ Senior Consultant (Southeast Asia) Nara Latip and presented in collaboration with Mandala Club and the Art Gallery Association of Singapore (AGAS) members and affiliates — Mizuma Gallery, Richard Koh Fine Art, JW PROJECTS, Sundaram Tagore Gallery and Metis Art — this exhibition highlights the role of art in questioning, innovating, and inspiring change.
