The Role:

We are seeking a designer who will be responsible for the production and design of Metis’ digital and printed collaterals and social media graphics, alongside website management. You will be working closely with our Marketing Manager to create promotional materials that are aligned with Metis’ branding for upcoming courses and events.

Job Scope:

• Liaise with Marketing Manager to produce marketing materials in alignment with Metis’ branding and make sure deliverables are met.

• Design and create compelling graphics and stories for social media to promote upcoming events, courses, published blog posts and further the Metis brand

• Manage the Metis website via WordPress and continuously update with relevant information and graphics as required

• Design and update corporate, artwork, and event decks as necessary for Directors and Metis Consultants

• Prepare Metis’ monthly and quarterly e-newsletters to be sent out via Mailchimp

• Liaise with our external website designer for changes to the backend or troubleshooting

• Liaise with external vendors for design-related projects, e.g. printers and photographers

• Produce other ad-hoc graphics and designs as necessary 

Requirements:

• Good understanding of visual layout, branding value, design, with a keen eye for detail

• Extremely organised with excellent communications skills

• Self-motivated individual with high energy, positivity and initiative

• Willingness to learn on the job

• Familiarity with or experience working in the fine arts industry is a bonus

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro or Premiere Rush)

• Fluency in iWork (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote) necessary

• Familiarity with Mailchimp

• Familiarity with the basics of WordPress

• Knowledge of video editing software is a bonus
