Metis Art, in collaboration with Straits Clan, presents The Singapore Art Supper Club, a series of focused lectures on the most prominent artists in Singapore’s art history. Each lecture will be followed by a bespoke dinner menu created by Chef Damian D’Silva in response to the artist’s life and work.
For the first of the series, we have partnered with artcommune gallery to highlight Cultural Medallion winner and centenarian Lim Tze Peng. We bring together a special showcase of his iconic scenes of old Singapore, his depictions of the vigorous local banyan trees, his travels throughout Southeast Asia, and his later forays into abstract calligraphy.
