Metis is looking for a highly-motivated and committed candidate who wants to pursue a commercial career in visual arts management, specifically in the areas of marketing and communications. The part-time role will report to the Marketing Manager with a flexible commitment of 1-2 days per week.
To report to the General Manager to manage Metis’ social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)
Crafting and producing content for these platforms in our brand voice
Designing strategic advertising campaigns to boost traffic and conversions
Regular posting and monitoring audience engagement on these platforms
Tracking performance metrics for these platforms on a bi-weekly and monthly basis
A digital native who loves social media, and understands the value of marketing a brand.
Self-motivated individual with high energy, positivity and initiative.
Willingness to learn on the job.
High attention to detail, extremely organised, with ability to multitask.
Extremely punctual and deadline-driven.
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills in English, with a vocabulary attuned to the fine art industry.
Fluency in Google Drive, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc) and/or iWork (Pages, Numbers, etc) are necessary.
Familiarity with A/B testing, Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns are necessary.
Experience in a design program like Adobe Suite is a bonus.
Available immediately with a minimum commitment of 3 months.
